Highways

The concept of highway asset management is becoming increasingly important for those responsible for managing highway networks. Using the novel StreetMapper laser scanning system, combined with video imagery, network assets can be mapped accurately and efficiently.

Data Capture

A typical highway network comprises road pavements, footways, streetlights, cycleways, signs, drains, road markings, traffic signals, street furniture, structures and verges. Using a combination of scanners and video imagery, StreetMapper can easily map these assets. This data can then be post-processed into a number of formats including GIS and CAD.
