GeoCue

GeoCue Corporation's geospatial process management system (GeoCue) is a generic framework that is easily tailored to manage a variety of geospatial production scenarios such as LIDAR production, digital orthophoto production, and traditional photogrammetric production.

Overview

GeoCue is a next generation geospatial process management system. Built on mapping technology from ESRI, GeoCue provides an integrated project management environment with a familiar map orientated graphical user interface.

GeoCue is an extensible process management system that envelops your software tools, processes, and data management system, converting your current production process into an organized and efficient enterprise system. This means that you can migrate your existing processes to a distributed multi-user system without purchasing new workstation tools and without the need to retrain operators.

GeoCue is designed to be very flexible yet easy to use, maintain and extend. Using an integrated graphic environment builder, you can custom tailor a workflow to suit your particular needs. GeoCue supports a virtually unlimited library of production environments (GeoPacs) that are immediately accessible through a unified, intuitive user interface.

GeoCue CuePacs

A CuePac is a collection of GeoCue menus, checklists and auxiliary programs that implement a canned set of workflows. CuePacs for common production workflows such as LIDAR production, orthophoto creation, feature collection, image archive management and so forth will be produced by GeoCue Corporation, by geospatial production software companies, systems integrators and, of course, by you, the user of GeoCue.

CuePacs can be custom tailored to fit individual workflows via Environment Builder, an intrinsic component of GeoCue. This fully open approach to process management allows GeoCue to be the core for any geospatial workflow application.

LiDAR 1 CuePac

LIDAR 1 provides the tools to integrate your TerraScan-based LIDAR processing workflow into a managed, synoptic production environment. The bottom line result is faster, higher quality and more profitable jobs.

LIDAR data are notoriously difficult to process due to their inherently unorganized structure and shear volume. GeoCue with LIDAR 1 provides a high performance LIDAR production environment with features such as:

  • Graphical project management and control clients that provide a real-time project view across your entire company
  • A centralized process and data management repository
  • Support for project reference data such as scanned maps and orthophotos
  • Tools to import LIDAR data and display true ground footprints
  • Analysis tools to verify project coverage quality
  • Delta Z analysis image creation to quickly assess accuracy
  • Import and display of Applanix SBET data
  • Automatic creation of TerraScan trajectories from SBET
  • Integrated PointVue for 3D visualization of LIDAR data
  • A very powerful and flexible system to allow you to divide LIDAR projects into work segments for processing
  • A complete set of functions for planning work segment processing including assignment of process steps and production operators
  • Multi-user workflow management tools for locking work segments, invoking production tools and managing/reporting problems
  • Seamless integration with TerraScan for LIDAR filtering and editing
  • TerraScan macro library assignment and application tools
  • Full support for horizontal and vertical (including geoid) coordinate transformations of LIDAR data
  • Merging tools for combining work segments into products
  • Complete, system-wide real time status viewing
  • An optional web-deployable viewing system with definable views to allow you to keep your customer in the loop

 

DEM CuePac

The Digital Elevation Modeling CuePac (DEM CuePac) is a new Environment for GeoCue. DEM CuePac is a collection of processing modules, GeoCue Entity definitions and checklist steps that provide a number of functions related to transforming, analyzing and processing digital elevation data in a variety of formats.
