SiteMonitor and MineMapper are state-of-the-art laser measurement-based systems. SiteMonitor is designed to measure and monitor the stability of rock faces, landslips and man-made structures. MineMapper is designed to scan a mine to produce a digital terrain map that can be used for applications such as volume measuring. With specifications that other monitoring techniques cannot achieve, laser scanning opens up a whole new dimension in monitoring.
