This data shows displacement change of 48 scans through two days of laser scanning at PVDC-Barrick Mine.
In order to provide sub-millimetre accuracy, the data was handled by SiteMonitor software using two main functions. The first applies a range adjustment approach to remove the atmospheric effect on the range correction factor parameter providing a nice depiction of the variations over the different consequent scans. The second function filters the edges of the benches in the mining area allowing for a more reliable definition of alarming threshold within the monitored areas.
The figure shows the displacement in the monitored area of several benches with consistency of less than 1 mm during the scanning period.
